Privacy statement
Last updated: August 2026
This is a translation of the Dutch privacy statement. In the event of any difference in meaning, the Dutch version prevails.
HockeyTime values your privacy. This statement sets out which personal data is processed when you visit this website or get in touch, why that happens, how long the data is kept and what rights you have.
Who is responsible
HockeyTime, the coaching practice of Thijmen Schenk, is the data controller for the data collected through this website.
- Email: info@hockeytime.nl
- Chamber of Commerce number: [KvK-nummer invullen]
- Registered address: [adres invullen]
Which data is processed
When you use the contact form or email directly, the data processed is the data you fill in or send yourself:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your club or team, if you fill that in;
- the nature of your enquiry and the explanation you write yourself.
No data is collected that you do not enter yourself. No profile is built about you and no automated decision-making takes place.
Purpose and legal basis
The data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where there is reason to, to discuss and carry out a programme with you. The legal basis for this is the performance of a contract or the steps preceding it at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your data is not used for advertising or newsletters, unless you give separate and explicit consent.
How long data is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted after [bewaartermijn invullen, bijvoorbeeld: 12 maanden]. Data belonging to an ongoing or completed collaboration is kept for as long as it is needed for the guidance provided, and after that in line with the statutory retention periods that apply to the administration.
Sharing with others
Your data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. The following service providers act as processors for running the website and handling email:
- Hosting: Vercel, which serves this website and in doing so briefly processes technical log data such as your IP address.
- Email: the email provider that handles info@hockeytime.nl: [provider invullen].
- Fonts: the fonts are loaded via Google Fonts. Your IP address is passed to Google in the process. If you would rather avoid that, the fonts can also be served from our own server: [nog te beslissen].
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no visitor statistics that identify you personally.
The HockeyTime Lab, the drawing tool, saves your drawing in the local storage of your own browser so your work is not lost if you close the tab. That data stays on your own device and is not sent to a server. You can remove it by clearing your browser storage. If you share a drill through a link, the drawing itself is contained in that link: only share it with people who are allowed to see the drill.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected and to have it deleted. You can also object to the processing, have the processing restricted and request your data in a common file format. Send a message to info@hockeytime.nl; you will get an answer within one month.
If you disagree with the way your data is processed, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
The website is served exclusively over a secure connection (HTTPS). Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is protected with a strong password and two-factor authentication.
Changes
If the way data is processed changes, this statement will be updated. The date at the top of the page shows when that last happened.
